1. Who We Are

MiVisaGuide.com is operated by PMG AI Solutions, a DBA of Paragon Management Group Inc., an S corporation incorporated in 2005. We provide technology-based document preparation services for immigration applications. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when using our service:

Account Information: Email address, password (hashed), and state of residence.

Application Data: Personal information required for immigration forms, including name, date of birth, citizenship, immigration history, employment, and education details.

Documents: Uploaded supporting documents such as passports, employment letters, and identification.

Payment Information: Processed securely via Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and device/browser information via Google Analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: prepare immigration application documents as directed by you; communicate with you about your application status; process payments; improve our service; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security so users can only access their own data. Documents are stored in encrypted cloud storage with access controls. We use industry-standard security practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Service Providers: Stripe (payments), Resend (emails), Supabase (database), Netlify (hosting), and Google Analytics (usage tracking) — each bound by their own privacy policies.

Attorney Partners: If you opt for attorney review, we share your application data with our partner law firm(s) only with your explicit consent.

Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or court order.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and associated data; export your data; and opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, email us at help@mivisaguide.com.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics cookies for usage tracking. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

Offline caching: If you install or use the Citizenship Prep tool, civics practice questions and officer-voice audio are cached locally on your device so you can practice without an internet connection. This cached content stays on your device and is cleared when you uninstall the app or clear your browser's site data.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and application data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Completed application data is retained for 7 years for compliance purposes. You may request deletion at any time.

9. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on our website.

12. US Citizenship Test Coach App (iPhone and Android)

Our free citizenship practice app works without an account.

• On your device only: your study progress, your plan answers and your saved officials stay on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.
• Zip code: if you enter one, we send it to our server to look up your U.S. senators, representative, governor and state capital. We do not store it in our database, though our hosting provider’s standard request logs may briefly record it.
• Home language: if you tell us a language we don’t yet offer, we store that language and your state (derived from your zip code), nothing that identifies you, to decide which languages to add.
• Microphone and speech recognition: with your permission, the app uses your phone’s built-in speech recognition (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android) to turn spoken answers into text. We do not receive or store recordings; recognition is handled by Apple or Google under their privacy policies. Answers are checked on your device.
• Crash reports: we collect technical error reports, not linked to you, to fix problems.
• No advertising or tracking: the advertising and analytics tags used on our website are switched off inside the app.

13. US Immigration: DIY? App (iPhone and Android)

Our free screener app works without an account.

• Your screener answers stay on your phone: they are kept only while the app is open and are never sent to us. Closing the app erases them.
• Continue on MiVisaGuide.com: only if you tap this button, your answers travel inside the web link to our website. That part of the link is not sent to our server when the page loads; the website saves your answers only if you continue your application there, as described in this policy.
• Notify me and Request it: if you use them, we receive the form you asked about, your email address if you choose to give it, and the app language. We use your email only to tell you when that application is available. Ask us any time to delete it.
• Attorney prep sheet: it is created on your phone. We never see it; it goes only where you choose to share or save it.
• Sharing the app: uses your phone’s own share menu. We do not see who you share it with.
• No advertising, tracking or analytics in this app. Your language choice is saved on your phone.
