Compliant in 45 States + DC

MiVisaGuide operates as a registered document preparation service in compliance with the immigration assistance laws of 45 states and the District of Columbia, including New York where we are licensed and bonded. We don't just check a box — we actively monitor state requirements to ensure our service meets the legal standards that protect you.

Service is not available in OR, GA, IL, NV, or UT due to state-specific regulatory requirements.

Bonded in New York

As required by New York General Business Law Article 28-C (§ 460-C), MiVisaGuide maintains a surety bond to protect our customers. This means if something goes wrong, you have a direct financial remedy — backed by a bonding company, not just a promise on a website.

What We Do

MiVisaGuide is a document preparation service. We provide step-by-step guidance to help you accurately complete the USCIS immigration forms you've decided to file. Our tools include plain-language field instructions, document checklists, deadline calculators, and completeness checks — all available in English and Spanish.

What We Don't Do

We are not a government agency and we are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, assess your eligibility, recommend visa categories, or tell you whether you should or shouldn't file. We do not evaluate the merits of your case. If you're unsure whether your situation requires an attorney, we encourage you to consult one before using our service.

Accountability, Not Just Marketing

Some services hire law firms to review their websites and display the firm's name as a trust signal. That protects the company. We took a different path — we got licensed and bonded by the State of New York, which means you are protected, not just the company. You can verify our bond with the state. That's accountability you can check.

Know Your Rights

Before choosing any immigration document preparation service, you have the right to ask whether they are bonded in your state. In New York, immigration assistance providers must maintain a surety bond and disclose the surety's name, address, and phone number in every customer contract (GBL § 460-C). In California, providers must carry a $100,000 bond and pass a background check (BPC § 22442). If a service can't show you their bond, that's a red flag.

If you believe you've been harmed by an unlicensed immigration service provider, you can file a complaint with your state Attorney General's office or Secretary of State.
